I started taking drum lessons when I was 10 and I've had only one job playing drums in a band. With the help of my mother and step-brother I taught myself to play rhythm and chord patterns. I also play some bass and had a job playing bass in one band.

I took six weeks of guitar lessons and the teacher told me I was wasting his time and my money because I was imitating what he was playing by ear and not reading the notes on the page. I'm a self taught lead guitarist and love to sing lead and harmony. A few bands I've been are "Night Life", "Silver Dust", "Crossfire", "Kahootz", "The Right Connection", "Caballaro", "Cornfield Cadillac", "Outback Band", "Diamondback" and now "Just 4 Fun". The Caballaro band has a CD out and featured a lot of original music. Diamondback also did original music and opened up for Ricky Lynn Gregg once. I've taken some time off (6 years ) but now I'm ready to rock some more. I like Peavey and Fender and Washburn. Call me a brand name kinda guy.
